I have an Early Childhood background with Master Degrees in Reading and School Leadership. I am a National Board Certified Teacher, and have used iPads in my first grade classroom for the past three years. I am passionate about using iPads to increase student audience, collaboration, project based/student directed learning, and inquiry in the classroom. My students have created connections in a global classroom through our use of technology, our classroom blog, and Twitter account. My current 1:1 iPad program enhances my daily first grade Common Core curriculum. Outside of school I enjoy running marathons and traveling.
