Sign up or log in to save this to your schedule and see who's attending!

This session will focus on how building choice, connections, and mentors into writing assignments can help students reflect on their developing skills as writers. Participants in this session will have an opportunity to see how collaborative 2.0 tools like Twitter and Google Apps helped high school English students to write and share their research projects with real audiences beyond the walls of their classroom. When students have both purpose and audience for their writing endeavors, magic can happen! This session will not only showcase a particular research writing assignment, but will give participants an opportunity to interact with some of the technology that students used to connect with mentors and share their work.
